Kids Summer Camp
June 7th - 11th

Over the many years camp has been a wonderful experience for everyone, and we are looking forward to this year.
We know that it will be a very fun time for your young person as well as a spiritual time.

God has much in store for us over the days we will be away.


The camp we are using is the Savannah Baptist Assembly at Pineora, GA.

• Camp June 7th -11th, 2026, for those who have completed the 3rd grade through the12th grade.
• Have your child at Pineora on Sunday June 7th at 5PM
• The total cost for the camp is $220.00


• $110.00 deposit due by May 15th with Permission Slip and Assumption of Risk Assessment
• $110.00 camp balance due by June 7th


• Pick up your child on 
Thursday, June 11th at 12:00 PM

We’re looking forward to being together so soon at camp! We want your experience to be unforgettable.

Listed below are the things you need to know.

 

Arrive:

At the Savannah Baptist Assembly located at 930 Honey Ridge Rd, Guyton, GA 31312

on Sunday June 7th at 5:00pm for camper check-in.


Please do not arrive prior to 5:00pm, as our volunteers will be preparing for your camper and will not be able to assist you.

 

Pickup:

The end of camp will be Thursday, June 11th, at 12:00pm. If you need to get in contact with your child in an emergency,

CAMP INFO

  • Deposit of $110.00 due May 15th, balance due by June 7th. The total cost for camp is $220.00
  • Camp is available to 3rd-12th graders
  • Camp Orientation will begin after drop-off at 5:30pm on Sunday. Parents are encouraged to attend.
  • We will have a t-shirt tie dye station during free time! If you’d like to make a shirt, please pack a white cotton shirt
  • There will be a Talent Night on Wednesday Night at camp!


We want to give campers advanced notice to be thinking about what they’d like to do, and what props they may need for any skits, songs, performances, etc. Parents, feel free to come up on Wednesday night at 7pm to see the show, which will begin at 8pm.

CAMP GUIDELINES

 Every camper will:

  • Follow and obey all adults’ directions.
  • Keep all relationships within a Christian perspective. (treat each other with respect in language and actions, including no PDA beyond hugging.)
  • Treat other campers with respect and kindness
  • Do their best to participate in all group activities, games, etc.

 

Every camper will not:

  • Bring iPad, phones, tablets, video games, or other electronics to camp (there is a phone on-site for emergencies)
  • Have shaving cream, water guns, water balloons, or any other additional prank props in your possession
  • Have any alcohol, fireworks, tobacco, non-prescription drugs, vape pens, firearms, or weapons of any kind in your possession.
  • Walk around the campground after lights-out without permission
  • Enter cabins/bathrooms of the opposite gender (all campers shall be assigned sleeping arrangements based on their gender at birth.


Camp Attire Guidelines:

Our typical camp attire is t-shirts and shorts that you don’t mind getting messy, dirty, or wet. Follow these clothing guidelines:

  • Shirts should completely cover the stomach.
  • Pajamas are only to be worn inside the cabins to sleep, not in the main areas during the day.
  • No clothes should be see-through.
  • One-piece bathing suits only.
  • Girls: Round-necked shirts are preferable to v-necks.
  • Boys: Shirts must be worn at all times, unless in the pool.
  • Girls: Wear shorts with bathing suits, unless in the pool.
  • Dark-colored tops are preferable because we often get wet during games.
  • Shoes must be worn inside the tabernacle & big house cafeteria at all times.
  • Shorts should be the proper length...at least a full finger tip.
  • Girls: No tank tops, spaghetti straps, tube tops, crop tops, or any clothes that reveal any of your undergarments.

 

Parents:

In the unfortunate event that the conduct of your child should be deemed by the Director as being inappropriate or breaking the rules, by sending your child to camp, you agree to the above stated guidelines & give your permission for the Camp Director to arrange transportation for your child off campus at your expense or agree to pick up your child as soon as possible. You will be contacted and made aware of any issues that may present themselves.

 

Recommended Items to Bring to Camp:

Hygiene Items:

  • Toothbrush/toothpaste
  • Hairbrush/comb
  • Deodorant
  • Soap/washcloth
  • Shampoo + conditioner
  • Razor

 

Clothing:

  • Undergarments/socks
  • Pajamas
  • T-shirts/shorts
  • At least one pair of jeans/long pants/a jacket
  • Towel for showers, Towel for pool
  • Flashlight
  • One-piece bathing suit/towel/sunscreen/a cover-up
  • Bug spray
  • A blank white t-shirt for decorating
  • Flip-flops/crocs/old pair of sneakers/shower shoes
  • Pillow & bedding supplies
  • Bible/Pens/Pencils/Notebook
  • Water bottle
  • Sunglasses

 

Pro-Tip, Non-essential, handy items to have:

  • Empty trash bag for dirty clothes
  • Earplugs/eye mask for sleeping
  • Pack your items in a clear rubbermaid container less than 6 inches tall to be able to slide it under your bunk for easy access


Assumption of Risk/Release of Liability Waiver Agreement

In consideration of The Sycamore Church planning the event named below and allowing the undersigned to participate in the said event, and in consideration of various members of said church agreeing to act as chaperones, furnish motor vehicles, or drive motor vehicles for said event, the undersigned hereby assumes all risk of injury or loss of life to him/herself and loss of or damage to property arising out of his/her participation in the following: Sycamore Summer Camp and the undersigned releases The Sycamore Church, its officers, trustees and members, and all chaperones, motor vehicle drivers, and anyone who furnishes a motor vehicle, from all liability as to any right of action that may occur either to the undersigned to his/her heirs or personal representative for any such injury, loss of life, or loss of, or damage to property which he/she may suffer in such event from any cause whatsoever.


In the unfortunate event that the conduct of my child should be deemed by the Camp Director as being inappropriate or breaking below stated rules, I give my permission for the Camp Director to arrange transportation for my child back to Savannah at my expense or agree to pick up my child as soon as possible. I also give permission to the Camp Director to administer consequences deemed appropriate for rule violations. 


RULES

Directives of all chaperones are to be adhered to explicitly.


  1. Treat other campers with respect and kindness.
  2. Dating relationships to be kept within a Christian perspective.
  3. Girls and Boys sleeping rooms are off limits to each other.
  4. No inappropriate books, pictures, literature, music, etc.
  5. Modest dress at all times - One-piece bathing suits only!
  6. No alcohol, fireworks, tobacco, or non-prescription drugs.
  7. No iPods, cell phones, or any electronic gaming devices.
  8. No shaving cream, water guns, water balloons, or any other additional prank props.


By completing this form you are agreeing that your camper under the age of 18 will follow the requirements and expectations specified above and will see that he/she abides by these instructions.
